City on a Hill
Alright, here's my new blog! I decided to change my title and build this new theme because inspiration hit me and left a rather large bruise smack dab in the middle of my face.
City on a Hill is to me this (to put it most simply): Rome; Los Vaticanos. The center of the Roman Catholic Church, the Vatican itself is a city (heck, even a country!) entirely on a hill! But ah, there's more! Each one of us is called to be a city on a hill, for a city on a hill cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:14)! We are called to live boldly in our Faith journey, to not hide what is right, to not submit to what is wicked! When we act to shine in the Light of Christ, all will come to see and know the Truth!
I hope you enjoy the changes and what not... I will be adding some new things to the side bar.
The Saint of the Month and the Quote of the month will remain, they will now be in the side bar. In addition, i will be adding something called "Read it and Reap!" (cheezy, i'm aware...) This new item will be updated weekly and will include a new verse from scripture to explain the faith or for meditation purposes.
Along with that, I plan to write more posts on the topic of Apologetics, explaining why something is the way it is within the Catholic Church. I will still, however (despite many complaints), continue to post really stupid random things... like my nerd score...
Once again, enjoy!
God Bless!
